Terms, refunds and privacy

Refund policy

Fourteen days, no questions asked. If Invoryx is not right for you, email support@invoryx.app within 14 days of purchase and we refund the full $999. You do not have to explain why.

We can do this because you can try the complete application on this website before you pay a cent. The demo is the real app, not a video, so you already know what you are buying.

After a refund your licence key is deactivated. The app stops activating on new machines, and any data already on your computer stays yours and stays on your computer, because we never had a copy of it.

Extra seats ($49 each) follow the same 14 day policy, counted from the date that seat was bought.

Terms of sale and use

What you buy. A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use Invoryx for your own business or for the business you work for. One licence key activates one machine at a time. You can move it to a new machine whenever you like. Extra simultaneous seats cost $49 each.

What "forever" means. One payment. No subscription, no renewal, and no feature that expires or moves behind a higher tier later. Updates are included for life. If we ever stop publishing updates, the version you have keeps working, because it runs entirely on your machine and does not need us.

What you may not do. Resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the application or your key, or attempt to circumvent licence activation. Using it for your own clients' invoices is fine. Selling it on is not.

Your data and your responsibility. Invoryx stores everything locally and sends nothing to us. That means backups are yours to take. The app can export an encrypted backup in one click and will remind you, but we cannot recover data for you, because we never have it.

No warranty of fitness for tax or legal compliance. Invoryx helps you produce invoices and reports, but tax rules differ by country and change over time. You are responsible for checking that the documents and figures you issue meet the rules that apply to you. We are not accountants, and this software is not tax advice.

Liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Invoryx is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law. The laws of the United Arab Emirates, with the courts of Dubai having jurisdiction.

Privacy

The application collects nothing. No account, no telemetry, no usage analytics, no crash reporting to us. Your invoices, customers and figures live in one database file on your own computer. We have never seen them and have no way to.

The application contacts the internet in exactly three situations:

• Activation. Once, to check your product key. This sends the key and a machine fingerprint, and nothing else.
• Updates. It checks for a new version and sends your licence key so updates are only served to valid licences.
• Features you choose to use. Sending an invoice by your own email server or opening WhatsApp goes directly from your machine to that service. It never passes through us.

This website. The live demo runs entirely in your browser on a temporary in-memory database. Nothing you type into it is stored or transmitted anywhere, and reloading the page erases it. We do not set advertising cookies and do not sell anything about you to anyone.

If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply and so we have a record of your purchase. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we are required to keep an invoice record for tax purposes.

If you ask to be notified when checkout opens, we store the email address you typed, and nothing else, in our own private issue tracker. It is used for exactly one email, the one telling you checkout is open, and deleted after that. Ask us to remove it sooner and we will.

Payment details. When checkout opens, card payments will be handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
